The venue has been a restaurant for over thirty years – when the grapevine sheltering the balcony was first established. Bistro One46 received the Silver award for Tourism restaurant for the second year running in the 2014 South Coast Tourism Awards for Excellence. This award is not judged solely on the food served, but on the whole dining experience as well as contribution to tourism in the South Coast. They were also announced as finalists for their second year in the Savour Awards for the Restaurant Catering Association. The meals at Bistro One46 cover lunch Saturday to Tuesday and dinner Friday – Tuesday. See opening hours here. The lunch menu has light meals and traditional favourites. Dinners are substantial servings of classic dishes with a modern touch. Chef Gerald Poelzl and his team create meals with flavour and flair. Blackboard specials often feature local and seasonal produce.
